In this section of our little web site, I have put together a few essays explaining some common concepts you will, hopefully, find useful in the study of your chosen instrument and in playing in our group.

The title “Wisdom” is completely facetious and should be taken with a large pinch of salt! When it comes to the study of music there is no such thing as wisdom ... only lessons learned by standing on the many shoulders of those who have come before.

With that, here are some ideas for your consideration:
