Wynndel and Broadband

Here in the little community of Wynndel there is currently no broadband. I got involved in trying to bring this new-fangled technology here ... a wonderful time was had by all involved ... so much fun to deal with the government and telco company!

The MUP Music Publisher is a program I'm using quite a bit these days. This file is a copy of my review published in Linux Gazette. It has been updated with some more sample files.

Uses for the Buttons on your PC Case Today, most cases for PCs come with TURBO and RESET buttons on the front of the case...buttons which rarely get used, especially on a Linux system. Here are some creative uses submitted by various folks on the internet. Last updated Oct, 2001.

For many years I developed and sold software for the Tandy Color Computer and for various computers running the OS9 operating system from Microware Systems. Since a lot of folks purchased my products, and I feel that it would be wrong to give away something others had to pay for, I've never released any of these commercial products to the public domain. And, I'm not selling them anymore.

Ahh, the good old days when one could write a program, photocopy some documentation, put the whole mess in a baggie and then make a few dollars. Maybe it is just as well that those days are gone.
